English K ENG001 Self-Paced

In the English K course, students learn through comprehension. Throughout the course, students read different types of text organised into underlying themes. In each unit, they quest to find the themes of the books they are reading and how they tie together. The English K course develops a passion for storytelling too! Students are helped in writing short stories when they are ready to do so and are encouraged to explain their answers to questions. The course puts a heavy emphasis on expression of ideas which can be done through speaking or writing! The course also helps students develop reading and writing skills including learning the alphabet.
