The poetry course starts with an introduction to developing, reading, understanding and analysing poetry. Next, it moves into specific techniques used in poetry as well as in the narration of poetry. Amongst these are poetic devices, images and poetic forms as well as voice, architecture and acoustics. For their own poems, students learn about the process of poetry writing, revision, publication and proper reading.
