The Math 1 course has a central aim of helping students learn about the two most basic operations - addition and subtraction. Over the course, students consolidate their understanding of how to add and subtract up to 100. In addition to this focus, Math 1 introduces students to the world of time and measurement, and finishes off with a deep-dive into basic geometry.
