In the honors chemistry course, students take a venture through the world of chemistry. Beginning with quarks, students look through chemistry with a magnifying glass, slowly expanding to look at atoms, molecules, and then interactions between them. The chemistry course allows students to master basic chemistry concepts such as atoms, bonding, reactions and moles before progressing to look at more complex concepts. Students learn by exploration of engaging curriculum and continue to perform hands-on experiments throughout the course. Together with Chemotube, our chemistry video-based curriculum, students are able to review concepts learned in each lesson at the end of the lesson in a fun and engaging way.
