About

In the Japanese I course, students study the language and culture of Japan. Students begin by learning the basics of short conversations, before moving into more detailed topics. Key topics within the class include naming objects, understanding family words, and being able to say the time and date in Japanese. The course emphasizes the learning of new vocabulary words, and combines these with grammar concepts and speaking skills to allow students to be prepared to speak a new language!
