The Math 6 course begins to introduce students to many new concepts, with a special focus on proportions and ratios. The course begins with a survey of ratios, before moving to look at percentages and rates. Next, the course connects this in to fractions, and looks at how we can divide fractions. The course also introduces a new set of concepts - expressions and equations - as students learn how to solve them. Finally, the course finishes with a look at 3D shapes and a final unit about statistics.
